What Collego Is

Collego helps you organize coursework and reminders. You can use a Canvas calendar feed, optionally connect your Canvas account for more detail, and ask the assistant about selected courses and files. The assistant is a public beta. Canvas and your instructor remain the sources of truth for coursework, and Collego's coursework tools do not submit assignments, change grades, or send Canvas messages.

Your Part

• Only connect accounts, calendar feeds, credentials, and files you are authorized to use. Never share another person's Canvas connection.
• Follow your instructor's rules about AI assistance. Check important claims, deadlines, and submission status against the linked course sources.
• If you use the iPhone connector, follow the temporary settings and cleanup instructions. Removing a connection in Collego cannot remove a profile or proxy setting from your phone.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Do not use Collego to send unwanted messages, probe the service, or interfere with other people's use of it.

Plans And Billing

New accounts can try Collego's paid dashboard and reminder features free for three days; no card is needed to start. The assistant's free daily allowance is separate and does not end with that trial. After the trial, the subscription costs $4.99 a month in US dollars, billed by Stripe, and renews each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings, Plan, Manage billing; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and there are no refunds for partial months except where the law requires one. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and Collego pauses reminders until it goes through. If the price ever changes, you get at least 30 days' notice by email before it applies to you. Collego never sees or stores your card number; Stripe does.

Referrals

A verified Collego account can refer up to five new accounts over its lifetime. A slot is used when a new person signs up through the invite link, even if they do not subscribe or later receive a refund. Link clicks do not use a slot. The first valid invitation is remembered for up to 30 days before signup. Existing accounts cannot add or change a referrer, and a sixth signup cannot be attached to the same inviter.

The inviter earns a one-time $10 USD reward when a referred person makes their first eligible, successfully collected monthly subscription payment. Free trials, failed payments, invoices paid entirely by credits or discounts, self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and monthly renewals do not earn additional rewards. The maximum is $50 USD per inviter. Using a referral link does not increase the friend's subscription price.

Rewards are held for 30 full days starting when payment succeeds. Refunded payments do not qualify; disputed or suspicious payments are held for review. A later refund or dispute can require correction of a reward already paid. Turning off renewal alone does not cancel an otherwise eligible reward for a completed, unrefunded first monthly payment.

After the hold, request payment from Settings, Referrals. Payout requests are reviewed manually and payment is arranged using the contact email you provide. A request is not a completed payment. Collego records a reward as paid only when an owner records the completed external payment and its reference. No automatic bank payout is promised. Contact hello@collego.app about an outstanding reward, incorrect status, or account deletion with an unresolved claim.

Share invitations only with people who want them. When recommending Collego using your link, tell people that you may earn a referral reward.

Assistant Allowances

The assistant beta includes a daily allowance of 15 messages for a free account and 100 messages for an active paid subscriber. Each accepted Ultra question uses 3 messages; Low, Medium and High questions use 1. Tool calls, status checks, and automatic continuation of that same question do not use additional messages. Messages reset at 00:00 UTC and unused messages do not carry over. Your account shows its remaining allowance. A submitted question that fails or is stopped after work begins may still count at its selected level's rate.

The free assistant allowance remains separate from the subscription required for other features after the trial. Account and service limits also apply to file sizes, storage, and simultaneous work. Phone setup may require waiting for an available place. Beta compatibility currently covers the documented iPhone/Safari/Wi-Fi flow and school Canvas addresses ending in .instructure.com; other devices, custom school domains, and networks are not promised to work.

Reminders Can Fail

Collego depends on Canvas, email providers, push services, and calendar services that it does not control. A reminder can arrive late or not at all. Check Canvas for anything that matters, and treat Collego as a helper, not a guarantee.

Text Message Terms

Collego reminders by text are optional. By entering your mobile number on the Settings page, ticking the consent box, and replying YES to the confirmation text, you agree to receive reminder texts from Collego about your own assignment and exam deadlines. Message frequency varies and is at most four texts a day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or turn texting off in Settings; you will get one final text confirming that you are unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@collego.app. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts are sent to numbers on all major US and Canadian carriers. No Warranty

Collego is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for missed deadlines, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

Accounts And Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. The operator may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that put the service at risk.

Changes

If these terms change, this page and the date above are updated. Continuing to use Collego after a change means you accept the new terms.
